What makes you tick what makes you want to ride: Passion makes me tick. That feeling when you just hit a section perfectly makes me want to ride.

What makes you want to race: My competitive streak.

What do you love about racing what do you hate about racing: Love the tracks, the riders, the crack. Hate the queues and the bullshit.

Recommended reading for road trips: Road signs, Dirt, and any other material that Dogman brings along.

Favourite road trip: Andorra 2006 I have never laughed so much in my life.

Claim to fame: When I was 18 I used to MC in the Gaslight (Local Club).

First race and memory of that day: Petersfield Pedalhounds May 1999.

What was the result: 70th out of 72!!! Flat out!!

First bike you raced downhill on: Sintesi Bazooka with Z1 Bombers.

Why did they sponsor you: I think they felt sorry for me.

Other hobbies: Scuba Diving, Hot Air Ballooning, Sky Diving, rally car driving... only joking just ride my bikes.

What got you into Downhill in the first place: My friend Johnny Critchlow got me into it then bought a crosser and sold his DH bike!!! I kept it real and still continued to ride and race on my own as there was no one local to ride with.

How long have you been downhilling for: 8 years.

Training: Like to hit the XC trails in Wales and try to rip the head off the gym a couple of times a week.

The result your most proud of: Winning to first 2 Midlands this year (I might need to update this if I get the overall).
