Burgtec Ride Wide Bars Coming Soon!

Here is the sneak peak of the new prototype Ride Wide bars. Bull Head and DC just got these in time to put them through there paces @ Champery World Cup. The bars are made from scandium so they offer increased strength versus normal alloy bars. Scandium is an awesome element to add to alloy as it provides a microscopic pinning action which increases the strength.



The reason for making the bars wider is because lots of riders have been using bar extensions, most famous of these are Bren-dog and Rennie. The main problem with this is there bars aren't designed to take the increased leverage. Our bars are designed to take the increased leverage.

The bars are available in 20mm and 40mm rise's. The bars have 9 degree back sweep and a 4 degree ride. The bars are 750mm wide and come come with the lines if you would like to trim them down. The bars will weigh in at 265g for the low and 270g for the high.



Price is likely to be £75 but this is TBC, finished article will have more detail on the stem clamping area too. We will have these by the end of July and if you would like to pre order just drop us an email.
