Stay Strong Camo

For those of you who hasn’t heard the story of British BMX legend Stephen Murray. stephen suffered a career ending injury, crushing his spinal cord and vertebrae on the Dew tour. Long time friend Kimarie Hunt came to the aid of the Murray family over seeing benefits and fund raising for Stephen. She focused her attention on myspace.com where she was able to contact thousands of people who were concerned with how Stephen’s recover was getting on.

A few days after the injury the ‘Stay strong’ tee was made and given to riders at the Cleveland stop of the Dew tour. As soon as the event was aired emails began to come in requesting for the tee. Kimarie spent her days and nights folding tee’s knowing that each T-shirt was being sent to somebody who had heard the story of Stephen.

Kimarie single handedly built a company that has touched the hearts of millions. She has traveled the world promoting the brand and spreading the message ‘No matter your fight stay strong’

Close friend of Stephen Marco Delosolia approach Burgtec about doing a Stay Strong camo pedal so we have produce a limited edition pedal with the proceeds going to the Stephen Murray Family Fund.

Don’t adjust your monitor I-cycles camo has made it to stems, bars and linkages.

Steve @ I-cycles was tricking out his custom built handmade DH frame and we were only to glad to help. He’s in the Process of have it re-sprayed so when it’s done hopefully send a picture of it for the site.

The Penthouse Flat MK3s in production

Just thought I would update people on the progress of the new Burgtec Penthouse Flat MK3s. As you can see we are in full flow production of the pedal at the moment. The first batch will be ready in 2 weeks. The pedals are currently at the Anodisers getting their colour on. I can’t wait to check out the special colours that have been done. Both Biketart.com and I-cycles shops have had special colours done so I’ll get some photos of them up on the site when I get them back.

Worlds 09 Pedals

The Worlds is a good time to be a Burgtec rider

It’s the Worlds this weekend and it wouldn’t be complete without a custom spray job from Burgtec and this year is no exception. Last year we had Aussie Camo For Mr Nathan Rennie this year we have toned it down a little but stuck with the Aussie colour theme.

Rennie and Delfs will be using the gold and green Penthouse Flats and Boxxer stems. The guys at Burgtec Wish Nathan and Mitch the best of luck this weekend!
